It's often best to get advice directly from the source, and, so, sweet Nina's foster asked her: "Should I tell them that you are a nice girl and that you love to talk?" To that, Nina replied "meooow." Nina is one of those cats that arrives at MCAS without a lot of history to her. She came to us after having been found as a stray, and, after several days in the shelter, we placed her in foster so that she'd have a place to relax and be her best kitty self. Nina didn't get that message right away, for she spent a good few days hissing and swatting at her foster. In just a few days' time, though, Nina heard the sweet talk and learned to approach a gentle hand. And - snap - just like that, Nina became an engaged, loving cat. Nina loves head scritches and being combed. She's all up for snuggling in quiet places, but she may love the scents she experiences next to a slightly open window even more. She's a good eater and enjoys both kibble and wet food, and she's an ace a litter box usage. Nina has come face-to-face with another girl cat in her foster home, and there was quite a lot of hissing. So, we're unsure if Nina would appreciate any other pets in the home. With her history of swatting, it's best she land with folks (including kids) who are willing to be gentle and respectful of her.
