Hello everybody, I'm Ruby! My friends here call me quite the trooper because I've made incredible progress since arriving at the shelter! When I first got here, I wasn't feeling my best - my skin needed some serious TLC. But thanks to the amazing care from the staff at the shelter, my coat is now looking lovely and my skin is feeling so much better! 💗 I'm a fun-loving gal with a big heart, and I'm ready to find a special human or family to shower with my love and loyalty. I'll need a little time to get to know you and feel safe because new things can sometimes make me a bit nervous. But don't worry, my friends here can give you great tips for helping me settle in and overcome some of the fears I may have transitioning into my new home. 🏠 I'm a bit selective about my doggy friends, also showing some barrier reactivity as well and I have do have prey drive being of the herding family. So a home without other pets might be the best fit for me. I will say, spoiling only me with all of the attention and endless playtime sounds pretty great 🥰 With some patience, understanding and more positive reinforcement training I can become the best dog companion you've ever had! Although I might need a little extra pampering due to my skin condition and would benefit from a teeth cleaning in the future, I am truly just the sweetest, most playful gal!
